Tempe, Arizona To Go High Speed Wireless

Tempe is going to attempt to blanket the city with a wireless internet network. The cities are beginning to, one by one, figure out how to make money off of a wireless network, so they should continue to come online, one by one, around the country. But the war is not over yet. The corporate world is not going to take this thing lying down. The idea of a city beginning to compete in the data transfer market is offensive to the phone, cell phone, and cable companies. They see it as their turf and are working to stop this new "city utility."
