I am now a simple Grandpa who's life is made richer as each grandchild is born. My wife and I have raised five children and the 30 year love labor of raising them has begun to yield sweet fruit..... And then there are fruits of 30 years in ministry ... I am a satisfied old man full of the joy of the Lord.

Cable TV Choice Demanded By Public

Cable TV subsidies channels that many people find objectionable. They do this by including them in "packages" of entertainment. It makes no difference if you do not like or want these channels. You must take them as part of a package. Thus your payments subsidize channels that are not mainstream and thus make them possible.

If you could choose to buy the channels that you want "a la carte" you would be only paying for the programs that you want. The smut channels would only be chosen by a small minority.
Thus they would loose their income and die. This is called survival of the fittest. What could possibly be wrong with that?

Yet the cable industry is fighting to avoid this tooth and nail. Why?
