I am now a simple Grandpa who's life is made richer as each grandchild is born. My wife and I have raised five children and the 30 year love labor of raising them has begun to yield sweet fruit..... And then there are fruits of 30 years in ministry ... I am a satisfied old man full of the joy of the Lord.

Where Have All The Teaspoons Gone ?

Finally, research has been completed as to where all of the teaspoons go. And just in the nick of time. With all of the Christmas dinners getting under way around the world many people are going to find that they simply do not have enough teaspoons for everyone. Yes, they might have bought a 12 place setting of flatware, but if they are a typical home, there will never be enough teaspoons. Some will be mysteriously missing !

Now we know that teaspoons have a half-life of 81 days in some locations.
"The half life of teaspoons in communal tearooms (42 days) was significantly shorter than those in rooms linked to particular research groups (77 days). The rate of loss was not influenced by the teaspoons' value and the overall incidence of teaspoon loss was 360.62 per 100 teaspoon years."

Still, with all of this research, it is not clear where the teaspoons go. It is only clear that "resistentialism" is at work in most modern homes. We have little or no control over teaspoon migration.
