I am now a simple Grandpa who's life is made richer as each grandchild is born. My wife and I have raised five children and the 30 year love labor of raising them has begun to yield sweet fruit..... And then there are fruits of 30 years in ministry ... I am a satisfied old man full of the joy of the Lord.

What Is Your Theological View ?

Now that you know for sure that you are not a heretic after taking the test 3 days ago, you can now find out what kind of denominational thinking lurks deep within your thinking process.
You can take this test and see what denominational background you are coming from.
Let's see how you all do on this one.
Let me know how you turn out.
I will post my results tomorrow.

Take the test here.

I am very pleased with the results for me this time. To see the "postmodern" term raises an eyebrow, but I really don't care because of the imperfection of a test like this and how low I did score at that particularly. I was even a little conservative on my agreements and disagreements, so addtionally I interpret the numbers in relation to themselves -- not only, for instance, how Fundamentalist I am in and of itself. Though less insightfully provocative results, this was a better test. Very cool revelations from these metalogical experiences …, dude.

Hmm...most of these types are unknown to me...but here's what I got just off the top of my head without any serious thought (Conan is almost on!)...

You scored as Reformed Evangelical.

You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God's Word. You most likely hold to TULIP and are sceptical about the possibilities of universal atonement or resistible grace. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Fundamentalist 68%

Wow, a methodist...who'd a thunk?
I think most of the charasmatic/pentecostal questions were based on church service "style" rather than actual doctrine, though.

I'm not surprised at all by these results. It sounds like me given how the quiz writer is

controlling the terms and concepts--very typical of hyper-intensive sola scriptura,

tradition-intense, underemphasied-personal-relationship-with-God Evangelicalism. For me,

I think that the Wesleyan conclusion is very correct, since Assemblies of God et al. is a

Pentecostal derivative of conservative Methodism. I just wish I wasn't ranked as being so

Neo-Orthodox since I don't subscribe to any of the fundemental tennets of Neo-Orthodoxy

and Process Theology. Again, this quiz needed more precision in the questions. But an

essay quiz that allows one to explain himself would have been even better.

Evangelical Holiness / Wesleyan - 93%
Neo-Orthodox - 68%
Reformed Evangelical - 68%
Fundamentalist - 68%
Charismatic / Pentecostal - 43%
Emergent / Postmodern - 39%
Classical Liberal - 36%
Roman Catholic - 21%
Modern Liberal - 4%

This test is messed up. At the end it asked me a Tie-breaker question: What is more true; the wold was created in 6 literal days or Man's repentance is through the grace of God. How am I supposed to answer that. It's like saying "which is more true; 1+1=2 or 2+2=4?"
