Sound Projection

According to wired.com there are some new developments in the projection of sound. Sound can now be projected to a specific target, like a search light. This would have been very useful down in New Orleans to get the word out when the phone lines and media were down.

U2 was actually probably the first group to investigate the use of this technology as a form of entertainment for their current tour, but didn't opt to use it for some reason or another. Defintely raises possibilities across a broad spectrum, this technology does...
