I am now a simple Grandpa who's life is made richer as each grandchild is born. My wife and I have raised five children and the 30 year love labor of raising them has begun to yield sweet fruit..... And then there are fruits of 30 years in ministry ... I am a satisfied old man full of the joy of the Lord.

What Is With The Navy ?

I was raised as military kid. I am very comfortable and familiar with the world of the military, but I simply do not recognize what I am seeing these days. Especially with the Navy and Air Force.

The invasion of the 60's generation into leadership of this country is even showing up in our military leadership. Morally corrupt, secular, people without any real sense of truth seem to be at the helm of the ship of state. What else would explain why the leadership of the Navy would block conservative news outlets like World Net Daily?

Imagine being a new enlistment into the Navy who has grown up accessing his favorite conservative news on the Internet. Then this same guy joins the Navy and thinks he is safe amongst his peers. But instead he sees a chaplain fired for praying in the name of Jesus. Follow this up with not being able to access World Net Daily and some of the insane political decisions being made about the war against terror and a young enlisted man could begin to feel a little insecure.

Liberal, secular thinking leadership is ruining this country. It has no basis of truth besides its own opinion. Or even more scary, it's only basis of truth is the opinions of those in power over it who also are without foundations. The navy and air force seem to be the ones that are the most out of wack. The reports of some of the middle leadership I know who are returning from Iraq is that the upper leadership is politically out of control.

This makes me think that there was some real attempt to block the military votes in the last presidential elections like WND reported. Corruption is seeking to undermine the will of the people.

Thanks for writing that. Not exactly on-topic, here's my reaction.

For all that I'm thankful for George Bush because of the relenting from the headlong craze toward the cliff; I have always had some major problems with Bush. His pseudo-compassion in Conservatism. His over-ecumentalism in religion: his personaly Christianity vis a vis his office. And the Conservative litany has its other particulars. But what is with this "B-team" cabinet of his?? The Secretary of Defense, who I guess has a great long conservative resume, has gone schizo against himself. Everything he says since being nominated has been.... well, we might as well melt the guns and take off the armor. And we might as well all be world citizens right next to the Islamists. Unreal.
