"Tongues" Are Mindless !

In a fascinating new study out of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine it was discovered, through brain imaging research, that brain activity in the frontal lobes decreased while Pentecostal subjects spoke in tongues. Why is this significant? The usual language centers are not used while speaking in tongues. There is a lack of intentional control.

This helps to explain why you can even do math while speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues is more like tapping the foot while doing math than it is really speaking a language while calculating. This confirms that you are only talking to God and not to men or angels. This also explains why it needs "interpretation", (not like language interpreters) , and becomes the equivalent to prophecy.
